What If I Don't See Anything Happen When I Pray?
If you asked your mother for a cookie and she said "no", would you ever ask for another cookie the rest of your life? This week we are going to be tackling this tough question: What if God doesn't answer my prayer? One of the more discouraging things in life can be working diligently on something and not seeing any results. So what do we do? We will be looking at the life of the persistent widow who continued to seek justice even when she was consistently turned down. We'll be looking at 1 John 3 and how God feels about us. And discovering the heart attitude that caused three brave young men to say, "But even if he does not [save us from the furnace], we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Verse:
Matt. 18:7, "And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?"
