Isn't it curious that within the list of gifts that Paul lines out for us in Romans 12, there is one gift that we may not put nearly as much emphasis on as many of the others? In the same breath that Paul talks about the gift of prophesy (a gift we put a lot of energy behind), teaching and even leadership, he mentions that there is a GIFT of generosity. But what does that mean or even look like in our lives?
This week we will be focusing on the final lesson of Monopoly Express, but could this be the greatest lesson in this series? Is the idea of giving in the Bible limited to money, or can we give other things as well? We will answer these questions as we discuss what else can be given to those around us, and how God gave us an amazing example of giving.
Verse:
Proverbs 11:25
"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."
Discussion Qs:
1. What does this verse mean to you?
2. When Paul talks about giving, how does he say we should do it?
3. If we sow corn, we reap _______? If we sow generosity, we reap ____________?
